• Onsite installation of ReadSoft Documents for Invoice to recognize Accounts Payable documents, automatically capture key data elements regardless of the form's design, validate the data and format it for processing in any financial package.  It is a cost-effective addition to existing EDI Systems to expedite invoices that fall outside of the process.

• ReadSoft allows your suppliers to "print" their invoices to encrypted e-mails for direct input to an Accounts Payable system. Virtual EDI eliminates to cost and complexity of traditional EDI methods.

• Facilities Management of the document preparation, scanning, recognition, validation and input workflow using microMEDIA's staff and management.

• Lockbox receipt of invoices and expense reports at microMEDIA. Similar processing to onsite Data is securely encrypted and transmitted to the financial processing system.

• Lockbox receipt of documents with scanning at microMEDIA. Transmission of data prior to validation, which is done by client specialists. Input is then done through the normal systems process.

The key to reading a myriad of forms is Optical Character Recognition (OCR). The computer system's software is designed to translate images of machine printed or typewritten text into machine-editable information. When an invoice or a form is scanned it is transformed into a digital image, which the OCR software can process. It is from this transformation that the system can capture, interpret, verify and transfer information, regardless of source and destination.
 

Readsoft's software can recognize new incoming invoice forms and figure out which fields to interpret. The automated invoice flow creates huge savings in time (fewer lost discounts) and resources (dramatically reduced manual data entry). Data quality is raised since the possibility of human errors is minimized.
